I think that people in 1991 listened to the radio, and they listened to a lot of songs on the radio.  They spent most of their free time this way.

Alexander Graham Bell (1847-1922)


Alexander Graham Bell was born in Scotland in 1847. When he was 13 years old, he graduated from King’s school in Edinburgh.

 

To begin he was interested in signal transmission by telecommunication channels and the he invented an electrical

piano.

 

Soon after, in 1860, a man called Antonio Meucci showed his invention that could transfer sounds by electrical wires. He

called it Teletrofono. It was made from metal and wood.

 

During the next sixteen years, Alexander invented a new device for transmission of sounds by wires called __Telephone,
