What do you think of their interactive highways that use wind and solar power for street lighting and traffic signs?
The article tells us that the Dutch education system places less emphasis on students getting top marks and PhDs and more on being creative and understanding the big picture. As a result, they may lack formal qualifications and be less competitive in the world job market. In most of the world students are encouraged to become specialists, and most career coaches say we should become experts in our chosen field. But based on the Netherlands' success should we, instead, consider becoming generalists like the Dutch?
If every Dutch roof had a solar panel, this would provide 25% of the country’s energy which is great! Why doesn't every country have solar panels on their roofs? What are the impediments to this?
